The Parliamentary Group sees its main role as ensuring that IPAN is known to parliamentarians and businesses alike as an independent, unbiased, authoritative IP resource, primarily through the IPAN evidence-based IP Topic Briefs. These are written and revised by experts connected with the Network and aim to provide busy parliamentarians with expert snapshots to aid basic understanding of a wide range of IP topics.
For the last few years the Parliamentary Group has organised a successful event for parliamentarians and IP opinion leaders celebrating World IP Day (26 April) in the UK in the Palace of Westminster.
