The sixth annual Intellectual Property Awareness Summit® (IPAS 2023) will be held virtually on 02 May 2023 in Boston in conjunction with Northeastern University’s Center for Research Innovation (CRI). IPAS is a gathering of IP owners, creators, educators, lawyers, organisations and investors, all with a common goal – to explore ways to make the benefits of IP rights, and the issues surrounding them, more apparent to people and society.
The virtual IP Awareness Summit® is the only annual event that examines the impact of IP awareness on innovation, content, people and value – and the strategies for improving it. IPAS 2023 will provide those who attend an excellent opportunity for discussion and networking in a conducive setting.
IPAS 2023 hosts are the Center for Intellectual Property Understanding (CIPU) and Northeastern University’s Center for Research Innovation, which helps creators and businesses to invest and license intellectual property. This year’s theme is ‘Bridges, Not Barricades’. Sample topics include:
- IP rights; How they empower entrepreneurship and diversity
- Best practices for educating future leaders about IP
- The Innovation Race: IP’s key role in contending with China
- USIPA Survey: What Americans believe about IP
- Licensing Roundtable: New challenges and opportunities
- Living in an AI world
