IPAN was delighted to support Global Women Inventors & innovators Network (GlobalWIIN) in 2020. We offer our congratulations to Patience Nwodu, for her invention of the Chibu Reusable Carriers for food products. Patience was the winner of the GWIIN Annual Awards first Intellectual Property prize  for the way in which she utilised IP as part of her invention, design and marketing. We hope that her example will inspire other inventors and entrepreneurs to use IP in achieving their business goals.

The World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) has published a case study on Patience’s business, as part of a series on the use of IP by SMEs. The case study is titled “The Icing on the Cake: A Smart Solution for Food Transportation”, and can be read in full on the WIPO website here.
